The most classic assembled Shinai of the brand KuSakura is an excellent Shinai for any type of practice. Made in Japan from Taiwanese Keichiku Bamboo, it is available in the sizes 36 and 37 for kids, and 38 to 39 for adults. The sizes 37 and 38 are available in a women's version, lighter, and in a men's version, heavier, according to the rules of international competitions. Delivered assembled with a high end Tsukagawa and Gin for an excellent fit of the Tsuka, and with Tsuba and Tsubadome. Absolutely classical in its shape and balance and therefore classified as "standard" Shinai. SSP (Shinai Safety Protection) certified, norms established by the Japanese Association of martial arts equipment manufacturers in collaboration with the Japanese Kendo Federation. Only SSP labeled are authorized in competitions in Japan.
