This high-end plain cotton Sageo, Shigeuchi style weaving is also called "Shigekumi". Both names meaning simply "thick". This type of sageo was widely used during the Tensho era (1573 - 1592).
This model is identical to the "Thick" version, but even thicker, by about 20%.

This model feature a simple colored pattern, firmly tightened, making it a rather thick, and thanks to the high-quality cotton a long lasting Sageo.
