This high-end plain cotton Sageo, Shigeuchi style weaving is also called "Shigekumi". Both names meaning simply "thick". This type of sageo was widely used during the Tensho era (1573 - 1592).

This model feature a simple colored pattern, firmly tightened, making it a rather thick, and thanks to the high-quality cotton a long-lasting Sageo.

Available in 6 colors. The blue-gray is a Japanese traditional color, called "Tetsu-kon" - metal blue.

These Sageo are identical to those offered with our Minosaka Iaito. Fits well with any type of Iaito and Shinken (Katana).
