Somewhat similar to the sleeveless Haori we also offer, this jacket was designed with a Kendogi jacket in mind, but adapted to be worn over a light Aikido dogi, over a Kendogi, an Iaidogi, and of course over a Samue. It features two outside pockets on the left and right front, very useful if you need to carry out your wallet and phone around as Dogi doesn't have pockets.

It fits very well on both black and white Dogi, so we recommend this jacket to all practitioners who would like to have something to wear over their Dogi jacket in a Japanese style. However, we do not recommend it if you wear a double weave Judo-style heavy jacket, probably a little too bulky to fit this jacket.

This jacket is made by the same workshop as our Sashiko samue, fully handmade in Japan, with a Sashiko weaving that is slightly thicker than the usual single weave Sashiko.

Navy only. Size M, L, and LL.  Please be careful, Sashiko shrinks a lot, so if you're close to the upper size, we recommend choosing the upper size.

Handwashing or machine washing in a net is recommended. Cold water.
