This model is made of a composite fabric polyester/rayon, a combination that provides our hakama with durable quality. The tetron used for this product is the same as for our Aikido Hakama, the strongest tetron type available on the market for unmatched durability.
This synthetic model is solid, comfortable, and very easy to maintain thanks to a special iron treatment that keeps pleats perfect in any place. We recommend it for confirmed practitioners looking for an easy-to-care yet high-quality Kendo/Iaido Hakama.
The uncompromising quality of our tetron hakama is illustrated by the 4 rows of stitching on the straps for extra robustness. The hard high-quality plastic Koshiita (back plate) and the koshiita hera (small belt plate) that is directly sewn into the structure of the back plate sewing.

This model is perfectly suitable for both Iaido and Kendo practice. It is also available as custom workshop for practitioners who need longer straps, a larger cut, or desire some other custom options we offer. All those customs options are available below.
This model is particularly recommended to Budoka valuing ancient tradition as it is made by the oldest workshop (100+ years old) still producing traditional Budo Hakama.

Easy to fold and to maintain, this model may be hand-washed and dried on a hanger (holding the folds using clothespins) without risk of losing the pleats or damaging the fabric. The color does not fade even though a slight color transfer may occur due to friction.
For maximum comfort, the strap length is adjusted according to the size of the hakama.
As all our Hakama, this model is fully made in Japan (fabric, cut and stitching).
