This is a standard type Kendo jacket: synthetic navy dye, single weave, and lightweight. The entire jacket (upper and lower part) is made of Sashiko weave (rice grain) fabric. Featuring a classic cut, it is great for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, and particularly for those looking for a high-quality made in Japan Kendogi for a small(er) budget.

This jacket already comes with a chest cord to keep it in place during intense practice, and it is possible to also add a Velcro fastening (black) through our customization options.

Unlike our Aikidogi, the Sashiko fabric is cut and sewn vertically for extra flexibility and comfort.
