Dogi single layer, 100% high quality cotton with a refined weaving. Unlike conventional models whose fabric is inspired from Judo, this model is composed of a lighter fabric with a weaving similar to that of the "Hishisashi" (diamond) dogi instead of the standard "rice grain" pattern. We call this model "Aiki" because it was especially designed (cut and fabric) for the practice of Aikido.

This model is very light and flexible, very comfortable to wear, especially in hot weather. Ideal for practitioners looking for a very light dogi but made of 100% cotton. In addition, the vertical back seam has been removed for better comfort.

Fully made in Japan (cotton, garment, cut and sewing), this model is a best seller here in summer (Japan is a very hot and humid country).

The recommended size/weight ratio is the ideal ratio for this model. It's ok if your slightly outside the ratio, but you might want to consider half smaller or bigger size, or another model. Please consult the detailed size table for more details if you're out the recommended chart.

This product consists of a jacket only, and the best pants to associate is the AS200 model.
