This product allows you to order a spare Saya for your Minosaka Iaito.
If ordered along with a Minosaka Iaito, it will be handled as a spare Saya, meaning that the Saya will be fitted to the Iaito.

If you order this Saya alone, you will have to fit it to your Iaito yourself. Since Iaito blades are standardized, the only part that needs to be fitted is the Koiguchi (to adjust to the Habaki). This process is fairly simple. Most of the time, the Saya is made tight so you will only have to sand the inside of the koiguchi a little until it fits as desired. It may happen that the Saya is too loose. In that case, you will need to glue some wood paper inside the Koiguchi.
Please note that standardization also means that, if not ordered along with a Iaito, the workshop will not be able to select the best fitting Saya for your blade, and the blade may rattle in the Saya.

This Saya may or may not fit on Iaito other than Minosaka's. Ordering this product to fit with another type of blade is at your own risks.

Important: the production time will significantly increase when selecting special lacquer, Kojiri or Kurikata options. See the recap at the bottom of the page for the final production time. Orders are final, no modification accepted once an order has been forwarded to the workshop.
